The article considers the issues of optimizing territorial tourism organization based on principles sustainable development, taking into account intraregional features placement natural and historical cultural heritage objects, development tourist infrastructure economic activity local communities. object study is territory Ivanovo district, a distinctive feature which presence significant natural, potential for ecological, other friendly types tourism. Tourism zoning area has been carried out with definition specialization reference centers each zone.
